Peter Phythian beefs up the commercial team at NSF International
NSF Agriculture is delighted to welcome Peter Phythian in his new role as Commercial Manager.
Based near Harrogate, Peter will be a senior member of the team, working alongside Bill Young – Head of UK Commercial Operations, Tim Green (Agriculture Technical Director) and Philippa Cartwright Head of Agriculture Certification.
Peter was born and bred on a farm and has been involved in agriculture all his life. With 20 years experience in the assurance sector from working in markets and abattoirs, Peter has gained a wealth of knowledge in the meat and livestock sector.
“We are delighted by Peter’s appointment. His experience and knowledge of livestock assurance, retail and the meat supply trade in general will be a great asset to us as we look to further expand our inspection and certification work in all areas in the UK,” commented Bill Young.
Joining NSF from MLC Services Ltd, Peter’s role will be to consolidate customer relationships, providing them with additional commercial support and advice. Peter’s key aim is to help our customers improve their businesses and margins.
Peter says, “I am very much looking forward to working with the NSF management team. NSF Agriculture is a very forward facing organisation whose main objective is to help customers grow their business.”
