Ashby Show is celebrating its centenary in style with a member of the Royal Family conducting the official opening, a BBC presenter judging livestock classes and a world-class motocross stunt team wowing the crowds.

The Show opens to the public at 8.30am on Sunday 13th July, at Cattows Farm, Heather in North West Leicestershire. His Royal Highness The Duke of Gloucester will officially open proceedings at 11.30 and main ring entertainment follows immediately with a parade celebrating 100 Years of Farming.
Ashby Show Chairman Mrs Lesley Whittaker said: “Our 100th Show will be our best yet, packed with top quality attractions, entertainment and the very best of British livestock and produce.”
The 100th Ashby Show will feature a rich mix of top class entertainment led by the spectacular Bolddog Lings Motorcycle Display Team and the brilliant JC Ball’s Dancing Diggers. Adam Henson, from BBC’s Countryfile and Lambing Live, will be making guest appearances throughout the day and strong man personality Geoff Capes will be judging the budgies. There will also be championship livestock competitions, a parade of 100 head of Hereford cattle and a wide variety of entertainment, trade stands and refreshment outlets.

A family ticket which allows 2 adults and 3 children is £35.00. Alternatively you could become an Ashby Agricultural Society Member for £35. The annual fee entitles you to 2 free tickets and a forward parking pass. It also includes entry to the Members’ Marquee.
