The all-new Subaru Outback, the WRX and Legacy have each received residual value awards from Automotive Lease Guide (ALG), the leading provider of residual value forecast data in North America. Subaru’s latest models were each awarded first place in their respective ALG Residual Value Awards vehicle categories.

The annual ALG Residual Value Awards honour the vehicles and brands that are predicted to retain the highest percentage of their original price over a three-year period. These three latest awards aren’t the first for Subaru – Residual Value Awards were given to the previous generations of the Outback, Legacy and Forester also.

Closer to home, the new Subaru WRX STI has been recently rated by the experts at CAP as retaining over 48% of its value and will be worth nearly £14,000 after three years of ownership.* This compares with an industry average of under 40% and makes the WRX STI a great private purchase where owners will benefit from limited supply as well as Subaru’s legendary reputation for build and reliability.

The new Subaru Outback, which ranked first in the ALG ‘Midsize Utility 2 Row’ vehicle category for residual values, is due to go on sale here in the first half of 2015 and promises to showcase a range of new technologies as well as new interior and exterior design.
