Tom Bell has joined the team at Douglas Green Consulting Ltd as Dairy/Farm Management Consultant.
He has a proven track record in Dairy Herd Management and his key skills include business analysis and financial planning, forage budgeting and grassland management, ruminant nutrition, cow housing, health monitoring of dairy herd performance and NVZ compliance.
Tom is from a Dairy Farming background, now based in Somerset but previously Wiltshire. After graduating from Harper Adams he spent 18 months working on dairy farms across New Zealand before returning to the UK to undertake an assistant manager’s role on a large organic farming business in West Wales. After two years he moved into a dairy advisory role for Kingshay as their Senior Technical Specialist.
