Exclusive sponsorship opportunity for the Potato Council Sutton Bridge Storage Day
The event to be held at the internationally renowned Sutton Bridge Crop Storage Research on Thursday November 29, 2012 has up to three sponsorship opportunities available.
“This is a great opportunity for companies who want to raise their profile in the potato and horticultural sector,” says development executive Ajay Jina. “The previous event attracted more than 200 participants from this important market and offers an outstanding return on investment.
“Sponsorship includes the pre-event evening reception, an internal stand, major signage, a programme feature and coverage in our media partner editorial.
“All this will help raise the sponsor’s profile in their target market, offer industry networking opportunities with current and potential customers within the potato and horticulture sectors and generate new business leads.”
The event offers growers and agronomists a unique opportunity to benefit from the latest research and advice and engage with experts on key storage challenges facing agriculture.
Speakers will include Emma Garrod from Produce World, who will be discussing opportunities for storage of field vegetables; David Hudson who will be examining CIPC with respect to Red Tractor compliance and Sutton Bridge’s Adrian Cunnington who will be speaking about storage costs and future developments. Furthermore, there will be question and answer sessions with panels from the Fresh Potato Suppliers Association (FPSA) and Potato Processors Association.
This is all in addition to workshops, displays and demonstrations on areas of Potato Council research and SBCSR expertise including CIPC, Blackheart, automated detection of skin defects, thermal imaging, alternative sprout suppressants and a pathology clinic.
To take advantage of this exclusive offer, potential sponsors should contact Ajay Jina on ajay.jina@potato.ahdb.org.uk or telephone 01406 359415.
