Belton success at Cheshire Show
Belton Cheese had their best ever haul of awards at the Cheshire Show which took place in late June. They even enjoyed a visit from HRH The Countess of Wessex who really liked their Cheshire cheese.

The 2012 Cheshire Show held at Tabley in Knutsford was host to another successful day for Belton Cheese who won a raft of medals including 8 gold, 7 silver and 6 bronze.
In addition, the English territorial cheese producer was awarded the Cheshire Cheese Association Perpetual Trophy for most points in show, Perpetual Challenge Trophy Reserve Supreme Champion for Red Leicester with Cracked Black Pepper, NFU County Branch Trophy for Best Cheshire and the Noden Challenge Cup for a display of British cheese.
HRH The Countess of Wessex was welcomed to the opening day of the show and visited the Belton stand to sample the award winning Cheshire cheese. This is the first time in 12 years a Royal has attended the show.
Commenting on the achievement, Justin Beckett, Managing Director at Belton Cheese said, “This is another great result for Belton Cheese. We take a real pride in our cheeses which have been handmade on Belton Farm since the 1800s.”
