Royal seal of approval for long serving Worcestershire employee

A long-serving employee of a farm estate in Worcestershire is to receive a special award from HRH The Duke of Gloucester at this weeks Three Counties Show (17 19 June 2011).

62 year old Robert Simms was nominated by his employer, Manor Farm, Great Comberton, Pershore in Worcestershire, for having completed 40 years continuous service, and will receive a Long Service Award Silver Medal at the Show on Friday 17 June.

His Royal Highness is the Three Counties Agricultural Societys President for 2011 and attended the Malvern Spring Gardening Show back in May.

He will visit the Show on Friday 17 June.
