The team jumped in tandem at Target Skysports at Hibaldstow airfield in North Lincolnshire on Saturday 21st May.

Amongst the jumpers was Spaldings Agricultural Sales Director, Roger Chase, who helped in the organisation of the event.

Mr Chase said: I have worked in the agricultural industry for over 33 years which means I have experienced firsthand the hardships suffered by the farming community. Partnering the Royal Agricultural benevolent Institution meant that I and Spaldings could do something to help this community who were suffering more than ever in the current economic climate.

RABI is a national farming charity that provides financial and practical support to members of the agricultural community. Spaldings joined forces with the charity in January to help to raise money and awareness.

Spaldings has raised nearly 6,000 which surpasses their original goal of 5,000 and with money still coming in this figure is set to grow.

I had never done a skydive before but thought it was a good time to do something a bit different and raise some much needed funds for such a deserving charity, Mr Chase explains. I am so proud of everyone who took part and it was amazing to see the sheer elation on their faces when they had landed. I am sure that they would all agree that this is an experience that will stay with us all.
