Neat turnout at LAMMA
Techneat Engineering lines up a comprehensive range of equipment at LAMMA.
The new Placement Pro machine with Rotamoulded tank and Terracast V2 can be seen alongside the Nutri-Start machine for applying liquid fertiliser onto oil seed rape.
The Placement Pro granular has been designed for the precise application of granular fertiliser at the optimum place in the potato seedbed during planting.
Placement Pro automatically distributes fertiliser slightly below and to the side of the tuber, for rapid and efficient uptake. The liquid version fertiliser applicator enables growers to integrate precision liquid fertiliser placement, with a 1000L capacity front mounted tank offering excellent forward vision.
Nutri-Start is a liquid fertiliser applicator designed to help OSR growers get crops off to a fast start before the winter. It can be integrated with the Terracast V2 seeding unit using the same GPS signal to govern the metering units of both machines.
Techneats electronic Terracast V2 is supported by twelve years of experience in manufacturing and supplying small seed broadcasting machinery. It features a unique variable metering unit and improved seed rate controller.
For the potato grower the Terracast 300 is an in-furrow or single bed nematicide applicator with an air assisted system providing a better mix of protective nematicide granules through the soil profile. Outcast V2 is a spray mounted slug pellet applicator for high speed and accurate spreading of pellets, with applications in potato, field vegetable and autumn arable crops.
Maxicast is a high capacity, high output broadcast unit for small seeds or granular placement. It offers contractors and large farms a high capacity seeding option.
The original and, described as still the best, Techneats Autocast combine header-mounted oilseed rape broadcaster is the lowest cost, well proven system for early oilseed rape establishment.
