Vital autumn conference attracts new sponsor

A new sponsor has come aboard to help take the latest financial news to the South Easts farming community.

In view of the Governments Autumn Spending Review, this years South of England Agricultural Society (SEAS) Autumn Conference is set to be a well attended affair.

Now Sussex and Kent based Complete Land Management has joined the sponsors to help ensure the conference is free to all comers with an interest in farming, land management and ecology.

SEAS says Complete Land Managements expertise is well placed to help farmers as they grapple will the new financial climate. The Sussex and Kent based firm joins fellow industry experts and long-standing sponsors Lloyds TSB Agriculture and solicitors Mayo Wynne Baxter, which has offices in Hailsham, Brighton, Seaford, Lewes and Eastbourne.

This years Autumn Conference is entitled New Government New Directions in Farming? and the top speakers are Peter Kendall, President of the NFU, and Professor Allan Buckwell, Policy Director of the County Land & Business Association (CLA).

Both men will be putting the politics and economics affecting the agricultural industry at the top of their agendas and will aim to answer all the questions in the forefront of farmers minds as the year draws to a close.

The conference takes place on November 17 at the South of England Centre in Ardingly, near Haywards Heath, starting at 6.30pm. Entry is free to everyone with an interest in the future of farming.
