Opening Doors in New Zealand and Argentina
Businesses in the UKs agri-technology sector have a rare opportunity to get free, expert advice on expanding their operations into New Zealand and Argentina. One-to-one meetings with specialist trade development officers from New Zealand and Argentina are being hosted on the 6th and 9th September, by the International Agri-Technology Centre (IATC), based at Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire.
On Monday 6th September, Todd Hewitt, Trade Development Officer at the British Consulate-General in New Zealand will advise on business opportunities in the agri-food technology sector in New Zealand. Businesses will be able to access expert knowledge on how to do business in New Zealand, the services available to UK companies to develop business internationally, as well as business development opportunities in the agri-food technology sector in New Zealand.
On Thursday 9th September, Mercedes Ortelli, UK Trade & Investment Officer from the British Embassy in Buenos Aires, will be visiting the IATC office, to give expert advice on business opportunities in Argentina. Ms Ortelli will advise on business opportunities in the growing biotechnology sector in Argentina; the services available to UK companies to help develop their business internationally; as well as how to do business in Argentina.
Georgina Varney, IATC Project Leader said The meetings will give UK companies access to business intelligence that they might otherwise spend hours, if not days, weeks or months researching.
