Polaris appoint new dealer

Dorset based groundscare and agricultural dealers C & O Tractors have been appointed official Polaris dealers after trialling sales on the Isle of Wight over two years.

The company, which has its head office at Blandford with branches in Wilton and Midhurst as well as the IOW, has been trading since 2000.

They started selling Polaris on the island in 2010 and have seen sales steadily increase, particularly for the Ranger four and six seaters, “We started selling mainly to agricultural businesses and game shoots,” says Paul Shutler, Branch Manager, “and now we’re officially appointed at Blandford sales are extending into broader areas. Customers having demos are finding the Polaris Rangers ideal for the Witshire and Dorset rolling downlands.”

To date, the best selling machines have been the Ranger Diesel 900. On the Isle of Wight C&O have seen a definite trend away from quads towards UTV’s, with customers favouring comfort, safety and the ability to carry more off road.

Paul says customer satisfaction is very good and they like the performance, finding the Rangers cheap to run with lots of options to spec as they want.
