UK Agricultural Tractor Registrations – First Quarter 2011

UK Agricultural Tractor Registrations in the first quarter were 3,371 units, down 23 units or 0.7% on the first quarter of 2010.

Early expectations have been for a small increase in unit sales in 2011 given the higher prices available for grain both spot and for forward sales. As the larger units tend to be delivered later in the season we may see future months show an improvement over last year.

The average size of units registered between January and March was 141.2hp, an increase of 1.4% on last year so the total horsepower sold increased 0.8%
