Manitou supports Alzheimer’s Society
Manitou UK Limited are pleased to announce that following a charity initiative over the last 18 months, a cheque for 4,000 was presented to the Alzheimers society on Tuesday 10th August 2010. The Alzheimers society works to improve the quality of life for people affected by dementia.
“ There are currently 750,000 people in the UK with dementia and this figure is set to rise to 1 million by 2025. Since it started in 1979, the Alzheimers society has become the leading care & research charity for people with dementia and for the people that care for them. The money we have raised will be used towards research in to the condition. “
Manitou UK would like to thank everyone who contributed in the charity initiative and helped us raise this large amount. The initiative involved collecting donations in return for either a Manitou feed bucket or a Bag for Life.
The trade shows where the charity initiative was held were:

- Cereals 2009 & 2010
