Farmers & Fletchers In the City, an exciting new luxury events venue is delighted to announce it will open in September 2015.

Home to two City Livery Companies: The Worshipful Company of Farmers and The Worshipful Company of Fletchers, Farmers & Fletchers In the City is located at 3 Cloth Street, London EC1A 7LD.

The building closed in 2013 for a substantial two year renovation programme. Once launched, the venue will provide an elegant and contemporary location for a range of private and corporate events from private dinners, wedding receptions and parties, to meetings, conferences and press launches. The largest room will accommodate up to 120 guests for a dinner.

The venue will be opening for a soft launch for eight weeks during July and August ready for the official launch on 1st September.

Farmers & Fletchers In the City will demonstrate their passion for food provenance by supporting British Farming and British suppliers. Most of the lamb featured on the autumn menus will come from the Herdwick flocks in Cumbria, free range and corn-fed turkeys and chickens come from farms in Norfolk and most of the vegetables from two suppliers based in Kent: one of whom is a unique farm co-operative working with a number of specialist farmers from across the Market Garden of England.

With a large circular staircase leading to the lower floor, the venue will incorporate a contemporary design with a nod to the traditions of the Livery Halls, yet with a clean and modern design. Natural colours such as soft duck egg, soft sage green and soft pebble grey have been used throughout the building.

Surplus profits generated by events held at Farmers & Fletchers In the City will be ploughed into inspiring young people with charitable and educational programmes.

Farmers & Fletchers In the City aim to connect with the City community and create a sense of ‘home from home’ with the new venue, with an official launch event to be held during September 2015.
