Househam Sprayers scoop export award

Lincolnshire based crop sprayer manufacturer, Househam Sprayers Ltd, has scooped a top export award from the UK Trade and Investment department for their innovative development of their European markets.

The award for International Business Communication was presented by Peter Hogarth, director of UKTI at a regional ceremony in Derbyshire, where he praised the companys strategy to develop its world wide markets.

Receiving the award were Househam MD Robert Willey, Export Director Jim Dickinson and Export Manager Taras Doroshchak.

Taras explained what helped the company win the award against dozens of other nominees.

In order to support our partners overseas we have developed specialist training programmes, tailor made for our customers so that they can confidently deliver training courses. This communication also flows both ways and we receive a large amount of invaluable market information from our dealers regarding competition, market preferences and trends in the industry of agricultural machinery, enabling us to accurately tailor our machines to suit a particular market. We are also actively cooperating with our dealers across Europe by jointly participating in dozens of trade shows and exhibitions.

MD Robert Willey was delighted to receive the award on behalf of the team.

We have put a lot of effort into the export market, and I am very pleased that the team has been recognised for its hard work. He said.

Househam Sprayers Ltd employ approximately eighty people across two sites in Lincolnshire and manufacture self propelled, trailed, mounted and pedestrian crop sprayers.
