Judi James, 54, a farmer from Littlebreddy in Dorchester and the winner of Dickies sponsored UK Worker of the Year 2013, will be driving a combine harvester from Wimbledon to Dorset to raise money for Breast Cancer Awareness.

Judi will set off on her journey from Wimbledon on the 9th June, reaching her hometown in Littlebreddy on the 11th June.

The determined farmer, who wowed the judges on her way to being crowned UK Worker of the Year last year, is delighted with the support and backing she has received in the lead up to her fund-raising initiative.

Judi James said: “I’ve always been a keen supporter of Breast Cancer Awareness and I had this dream to drive a combine harvester from London to Dorset. I still cannot believe it is going ahead but I hope people will get behind me and we can raise some money for a good cause.”

Maurice Morton, sales and marketing director at Dickies stated: “It’s fantastic to see Judi going ahead with her goal to raise money for her chosen charity. Dickies is fully behind her initiative and will do all we can to help her over the three days.”

UK Worker of the Year 2014 has recently been launched as Dickies set out to recognise and reward hard workers in the UK for the fifth year running.

Like last year’s competition, UK Worker of the Year for 2014 will be sponsored by Dickies, in association with Suzuki. The winner this time round will have the choice to take home a Suzuki S-Cross car, a Suzuki V-Strom 1000 motorcycle or a Suzuki ATV Quad. However, in addition to these fabulous prizes, the lucky winner will also have the chance to win a cash prize of £100K this time round.
