A perfect fit Shaun the Sheep and Farm Stay UK

The two farm inspired organisations join forces!…

Farm Stay UK is delighted to announce that it is working with Aardmans Shaun the Sheep to encourage families and children to learn more about farming and the countryside. New farm friendly packs have been created by Farm Stay UK, featuring Shaun, for the organisations farm accommodation, which is situated throughout the UK.

Initially part of Farm Stays support of the Wake up to Heart of the Country project which promotes farm accommodation businesses in the Heart of England, the new childrens welcome packs are crammed full of fun farm activities which are both educational and entertaining and aimed at children of all ages.

Farm Stay UK members really do offer something for everyone, from romantic getaways for two, to parties for large groups of friends and active holidays for families, but we wanted to highlight the hard work our members put in to make their properties exciting for children.  The partnership with Shaun the Sheep is great for Farm Stay UK, as it will help us to raise awareness of farming and the fun that can be had when staying on a farm.  We may not have the most reliable of climates, but we do have acres of open land to explore, animals to look after and some beautiful scenery to take in, said Andy Woodward, Chief Executive of Farm Stay UK.

A huge number of the 1,200 star rated, award-winning Farm Stay UK properties offer facilities for children and families such as; indoor swimming pools, bike hire, fishing, games rooms, on site tennis courts and much more.  Over 200 Shaun the Sheep childrens packs will be distributed initially to Farm Stay UK members in the Heart of England in time for the October half term, with the remaining Shaun Approved farms across the UK, there are over 600, receiving packs in time for the Easter holidays!
