The handover of the prize took place at local Suzuki ATV dealer, H Pigney and Sons in Appleby, Cumbria on Wednesday 12th February.

Mr and Mrs Iveson, Red Tractor beef and sheep farmers from North Yorkshire, have claimed the Suzuki All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) prize after entering the competition at the NSA North Sheep event in 2013.

Throughout 2013 Red Tractor Assurance were offering the chance to win the ATV, kindly donated by Suzuki, through filling out a short questionnaire at events and shows or through registering on their website. The response was great with nearly 1500 entries over the course of the year.

The handover of the prize took place at local Suzuki ATV dealer, H Pigney and Sons in Appleby, Cumbria on Wednesday 12th February.

Mrs Iveson said “We were delighted and very surprised to find out we had won the competition. It turned out to be a very successful show for me as I also picked up a cash prize from EBLEX in their lamb selection competition”.

Jessica Sloss, Industry Communications Manager at Red Tractor said, “We’re so pleased the ATV is going to such worthy winners. Mr and Mrs Iveson have been part of the Red Tractor Beef and Lamb scheme for many years and as hill farmers, ATVs are of great importance to their day to day lives”.

Gareth Lumsdaine, Sales & Marketing Manager at Suzuki GB commented, “Working with Red Tractor Assurance is a key part of our support for British Farming. We’re thrilled to hear that the prize Suzuki ATV is going to be put to good use on Mr and Mrs Iveson’s farm”.

This doesn’t spell the end for the ATV competition though as Suzuki has very kindly offered to donate another prize for Red Tractor to give away over the course of 2014! Details will be announced at www.redtractorassurance.org.uk and www.suzuki-atv.co.uk. You can keep up with the latest news by following @RTfarmers and @SuzukiATVsUK on twitter.
