New Vaderstad wearing parts ready for autumn cultivations

With autumn cultivations high on the agenda it’s a good time to be looking at the condition of wearing metal parts on cultivation equipment such as ploughs, cultivators and power harrows. “Conditions during autumn can be testing, with general conditions looking fairly hard and the odd heavy downpour thrown in,” says Mac Coleman, general manager of agricultural parts specialist APM Agriplant. “So it pays to be ready for getting out there and checking which parts need replacing well before the action starts, and getting stocks in to keep downtime to a minimum.”

This year APM have taken on increased stocks of parts to fit Vaderstad cultivation equipment, recognising the brand’s popularity in the UK. “So many of our customers are using Vaderstad equipment that it’s made sense to go out and source some superb deals. We’re holding huge stocks of Carrier, drill and System discs, as well as coulters.” says Mr Coleman. “And in addition we also carry standard and tungsten Vaderstad TopDown cultivator points.” APM have seen a surge in the popularity of tungsten-tipped parts, with many farmers turning to the huge savings that this hard-wearing metal offers, with it’s subsequent reductions in down-time and increases in working time.

Vaderstad parts are listed in the 467 page APM catalogue, which can be requested free on 01794 388622, or by email to sales@apm-supplies.co.uk
