Relaunch of gmo-safety.eu Revised website with optimised functions
Since 2001, the information portal gmo-safety.eu has, on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, provided the interested public an insight into biosafety research in Germany. With over a million visits yearly, this internet website has developed into a central information platform on the safety of genetically modified plants.
Since 8 June 2010 gmo-safety.eu has a new layout with clearly optimised functions. New editorial accents and a tighter menu guidance provide more transparency and a clear structure.
The relaunch accommodates the increasing supply of results from the, in the meantime 185, research projects. With the help of a powerful navigation tool for accessing complex subject areas, the user will in future be able to find all the important facts more quickly and simply. With each page called up the visitor also receives suggestions for further subject-specific information.
For the current socially discussed topics of green gene technology as well as the ongoing and completed research projects, gmo-safety.eu offers over 500 news items, reports, background information and interviews with the scientists.
Visit the new website and see the changes for yourselves.
