Goodyear AGRI benefits at Cereals
On the 9th and 10th June the Goodyear Farm team will be present at the annual Cereals show at Royston. The team will be highlighting the top tyres in their Optitrac range on their stand and educating visitors on tyre technology and maintenance.
At the forefront of the Goodyear stand will be the new DT818 High Speed (HS). As the industry evolves, innovation and technology provides us with a wide range of tools to assist us in our everyday life.
Goodyear, have done just this with their tyre the DT818 HS. As farmers and contractors begin to find increasing load on their tractors, enabling fast and efficient working, the innovation and technology experts designed a tyre that could cope with these high loads and speeds.
The DT818HS is part of the very popular Optitrac radial drive farm tyre range which comes in 13 popular sizes.
High Speed means that the tyres are D speed rated and can operate at speeds up to 44mph (70kph) or at inflation pressures as low as 9psi. Even at lower operating speeds and for tractors that have a top speed of 25mph (45kph) or 30mph (50kph) these tyres provide performance advantages being able ton carry up to 9.5% more load at same inflation versus the conventional DT818 tyre. Furthermore, DT818 HS can carry the same loads as DT818 at lower inflation pressure thereby, elongating the footprint generating more traction and pull.
These benefits result in work getting completed faster and at lower cost as well as reducing soil compaction. In a constantly evolving and progressing industry a tyre with such capability is important for creating ease of work.
The leading tyre manufacturer will also be looking to sign up farmers to their popular AGRI Club. The club offers members regular e-mail and postal newsletters as well as tyre offers and opportunities to join the Goodyear team at farming shows across the country.
This month AGRI Club members have received a 150 voucher off the cost of a set of four DT818HS tyres this is the kind of benefit available to AGRI Club members something that is not to be missed!
Phil Stanton, Goodyear Farm Manager said: It is always a pleasure to be present at the Cereals show. We hope to sign up more members to our already 350 strong AGRI Club. Not only will new registrations make themselves available to offers such as the 150 voucher off a set of four DT818HS tyres they will also be entered into a draw to win 2000 worth of Optitrac radial farm tyres which will be drawn at the British Ploughing Championships later this year.
