New Young Farmers’ website launched

The National Federation of Young Farmers’ Clubs (NFYFC) has launched a new website to increase its appeal to a wider public.

As well as a significant benefit to members of Young Farmers’ Clubs, the new site – www.nfyfc.org.uk – is designed to encourage more people to understand what happens at Young Farmers activities around the country.

With a vibrant home page, clear navigation and a dynamic look, the team at the NFYFC hope that it will offer a better experience for all those wishing to find out more about the diverse programme that Young Farmers are involved with.

Young Farmers’ Club members, who are aged between 10 and 26, are renowned for their active calendar of events and there will be regular reports and photographs from the competitions programme, features on big events such as the Annual Convention attended by 4,500 members, and articles about Discovery trips, where Young Farmers discover the world through overseas visits, homestay’s and exchanges.

Diane Calvert, NFYFC Chief Executive, said: “The new look website is a massive step forward for us. We are committed to keeping up to date with best practice, this new website is compatible with both mobile phones and tablets. Not only does the new site benefit existing members but it will reach out to all those who wish to know more about the fantastic opportunities that being a member of Young Farmers’ Clubs can bring.”

A new members’ only area will allow access to deals which will save members money, a club shop where YFC branded items can be bought and regular special offers. It will also house in-depth information about the varied competitions programme throughout the year.
