New waterproof protective clothing for the winter season
A new range of waterproof clothing designed specifically for farmers, vets and Al operatives is to be introduced at Livestock 2012 under the KiwiKit brand.

The classic flexothane ‘Oringi’ range of waterproofs for farmers and growers has been a major seller for KiwiKit for over the last seven years. Now, building on this experience and direct customer feedback, KiwiKit has developed even more comfortable, practical and extremely durable designs for the British market – and the British weather – designed specifically with vets and Al operatives in mind.
KiwiKit , a Shropshire family firm that has built its success promoting New Zealand solutions to British grassland farmers, now has a substantial range of clothing lines featuring Classic Flexothane® which has the breathability, flexibility and comfort required when in the field – for whatever the British weather can throw at us.
Vets will appreciate that Classic Flexothane garments are fully machine-washable. They are also tested independently to a high level of protection against blood and body fluid borne pathogens.
The Kiwikit range includes Work T’s, long and short sleeved, with neoprene cuffs, teamed with over-trousers or a bib over-trouser, either of which can be reinforced. The range also includes gowns, long and short sleeved, with neoprene cuffs, a highly popular waterproof body warmer and, new this season, the Kiwikit Multi-Jacket featuring an optional removable fleece for both winter and summer wear with a number of extra features too.
Director Jackie Brundrett says, “We work with a number of vet practices and Al operatives as well as hundreds of farmers. We have been listening to their observations and trialling options for such features as the neoprene cuff which, in conjunction with our manufacturers, we have applied to Work-Ts and gowns to our own design.”
