Glenside appoints Ashford

Agronomic specialists The Glenside Group is strengthening its technical team with the appointment of 43-year old Kevin Ashford as Regional Business Manager in South West England. He will also lead the companys involvement in precision farming, and help develop a new range of biological products.

Kevin whose family farms in the Quantock Hills in Somerset lives just North of Taunton. He attended Cannington Agricultural College, near Bridgewater, before spending six years working with a crop protection company in North Wales, and then 14 years with Masstock in South West England.

He is BASIS, FACTS and BETA qualified, so will be able to advise farmers on all matters relating to soil, crops, livestock and the environment. He is looking forward to working with the company:

During my time with Masstock I have been working on various aspects of precision farming while with Masstock, with Glenside I think we can develop this to an entirely new level.
