Member Services Boost With New Recruit

South West rural insurance firm Cornish Mutual is bolstering its focus on providing a top-class service with the appointment of a new Member Services Manager.

Sharon Plowright (pictured) has taken up the role, newly created by the company, to oversee all aspects of customer relations. Sharon says she hopes to make Cornish Mutual, which has Members across Cornwall, Devon, Somerset and Dorset, a centre of excellence in customer service.

Its a local company with great values, and strongly believes that its Members should be central to everything the company does, says Sharon. Cornish Mutual already provides a good level of service, Im looking forward to improving this further still as its my personal belief that we should provide an excellent customer experience every time.

Sharon (48), who lives in Truro with her husband and daughter, will take responsibility for the quality of service delivered through the Cornish Mutual Member Service Centres located in both Exeter and Truro. Sharon has a background in customer service and sales, fulfilling similar roles at Sky TV, Clydesdale Bank, Yorkshire Bank, Westminster City Council and Birmingham City Council.
