Milk Link Churn A Top Result At Great Yorkshire Show
Milk Link, the leading British dairy farmer owned co-operative and largest cheese manufacturer, triumphed at todays Great Yorkshire Show, with its creameries picking up a total of 17 awards for the quality of their cheeses and butters.
The Lockerbie Creamery continued its winning streak, with awards for Best Butter in Show, along with first prizes for its salted and unsalted butter and its Lockerbie Mature Cheddar . This follows awards at the Royal Highland Show, where Lockerbie unveiled a new-look, new-feel brand, and won Supreme Champion for its butter. Milk Links Recces Creamery in Cheshire was awarded Best Wensleydale in Show and first prizes for its Wensleydale and Cylindrical Cheshire cheeses. Meanwhile Milk Links Tuxford & Tebbutt Stilton Creamery collected first and third prizes for its finest Stilton. The Taw Valley Creamery in Devon continued its excellent award season with a further six awards for the quality of its Cheddars and Red Leicester.

The company manufactures over 20 varieties of cheddars, Blue Stiltons and British regional cheeses for the retail, food service and ingredients sectors and employs over 1,000 staff across five cheese and dairy processing facilities and its consumer packing facility at Oswestry, Shropshire.
