Young Farmers invited to New Zealand
Novartis is offering to take one Young Farmer on a trip of a lifetime to New Zealand. Applications must be submitted by the 11th June 2011. The winner will receive a grant of 1,500 and will spend two weeks on a sheep station in New Zealand, with the opportunity for travel afterwards.
Entrants must be over the age of 18 and must also be a member of the National Federation of Young Farmers. For a second year running Novartis Animal Health is offering a young farmer the trip of a lifetime to New Zealand to study sheep farming practices. To enter, candidates are required a write a 500 word report examining the benefits of parasite control, in particular blow fly strike and resistance to anti-parasite medicines, and how these issues affect farm productivity in New Zealand.
