Goodyears AGRI club for farmers nationwide has reached its 1000th member. The exclusive Goodyear AGRI club was set up in 2009 to encourage the sharing of best practice and industry news throughout the UK’s farming community.

Free to join, the Goodyear AGRI club offers members regular e-mail and postal newsletters as well as tyre offers and opportunities to join the Goodyear team at farming shows across the country.

The Goodyear farm team were pleased to sign up their 1000th member to the club at an event at Farm Tyre Specialist dealer Llandovery Tyres in Dyfed.

This 1000th member is Kaye Davies, with 700 acres of mixed farmland. Current arable crops are potatoes, wheat, barley and OSR plus livestock of cattle, sheep and pigs. She operates with 11 tractors.

“The AGRI club provides farmers like Kaye across the nation with offers and promotions relating to Goodyear products and events through the seasons. We are pleased to have signed up over one thousand farmers to the club and hope to increase this number as the year progresses said Phil Stanton, Goodyear Farm Manager.

We want to build relationships with our end users, and the AGRI club, as well as our prominence at farming shows throughout the year is helping us to achieve this goal. Only by talking to our customers directly will we learn what they want from their tyres and it is a great way to inform them of our promotions which they usually wouldnt be aware of” Commented Phil.

If you would like to become a member of the AGRI club go to www.goodyear.co.uk and print out a registration form and post back to Phil Stanton, Goodyear AGRI Club, TyreFort, 88- 98 Wingfoot Way, Erdington, Birmingham, B24 9HY.
