Honda (UK) enters into partnership with BASC
Honda (UK) is delighted to announce its partnership with the British Association for Shooting and Conservation (BASC). Importantly, the agreement allows Honda (UK) to continue its support of the Gamekeeping industry, as well as reaching a far wider rural community through a broad programme of activities. In addition, because of BASCs mission to promote and protect sporting shooting and the well-being of the countryside throughout the United Kingdom, Honda (UK) is able to further support its commitment to the environment.
Phil Webb, Head of Power Equipment for Honda (UK) said: The partnership will see a variety of joined up activities including events, advertising and PR and were very enthusiastic about the benefits that the alliance will undoubtedly bring to our future customers, BASCs members and the rural community at large.
BASC, the UKs largest shooting organisation, currently has 130,000 members and represents their interests by providing a voice for all sporting shooting, promoting practical habitat conservation, training and the setting of standards while undertaking appropriate research. In partnership with Honda (UK), both organisations will promote best practice use and maintenance of All Terrain Vehicles through joint activities designed to help users get the most out of their vehicles.
Tom Blades, BASCs head of game and gamekeeping, said: We are delighted to have formed this partnership with Honda. Many of BASCs 130,000 members use all terrain vehicles and we are proud to have teamed up with the worlds leading manufacturer. We have an established and growing interest in these popular and useful vehicles and we are proud to be working together with Honda to promote their safe use.
