Dannii Minogue to star in a2 Milk adverts
The adverts will hit TV screens from the 30th January.
Upcoming tv adverts will see Dannii explaining why discovering a2 Milk in Australia has made a big difference to her life and diet
Following on from her involvement in the PR launch of a2 Milk in the UK last year, Australian television personality, fashion designer, author and singer Dannii Minogue has now announced that she will be continuing her endorsement of the brand by starring in a major TV advertising campaign, launching at the end of this month ahead of her arrival back into the UK to commence filming Britain & Ireland’s Next Top Model for Sky Living.
The adverts will hit TV screens from the 30th January, and will feature Dannii explaining why discovering a2 Milk in Australia has made a big difference to her life and diet. Kindred Agency and Total Media will be working in partnership with Channel 4 media and are spending close to £1m to reach their target audience across multiple platforms. The adverts will be supported by exclusive behind the scenes content with Dannii, which will be available on a2 Milk UK’s social media profiles.
Dannii’s history of problems with dairy makes her an ideal advocate for a2 Milk, and she has proved to be an enthusiastic spokesperson for the product so far: “I avoided drinking cows’ milk from when I was a child, as it always made me feel a bit ‘yuck’. So it was fantastic to discover a2 – it’s entirely natural, tastes great and I’m able to enjoy it without experiencing any of the symptoms that I used to get. With one milk in the fridge I can provide the important nutrients my family and I need.”
Sean Uprichard, CEO of a2 Milk UK, added: “We’re thrilled that Dannii has extended her association with a2 Milk and signed up to be the face of our TV advertising campaign. Her popularity and profile in the UK will play a huge role in helping us reach a new audience for the product and her own story of dairy discomfort is sure to strike a chord with many consumers across the country.
“We look forward to revealing the new adverts at the end of this month and hope that the British public enjoy having Dannii back on their TV screens!”
a2 Milk – a joint venture in the UK between a2 Corporation and Muller Wiseman Dairies – is sourced from specially selected British farmers with cows whose milk is rich with the A2 beta-casein protein but contains no A1. After huge success in Australia, it launched in the UK in October 2012 and is available to buy in all Morrisons, Booths and Budgens stores, plus major Tesco and Waitrose outlets.
