BouMatic, global dairy equipment and chemical manufacturer, announces major renovations and improvements at its U.S. and European offices to support the company’s manufacturing expansion and global training programs.

“BouMatic’s global business continues to expand and we are investing in the company’s infrastructure to upgrade manufacturing capabilities and expand our training facilities,” explained Robert Luna, President of BouMatic. “We expected to be making these improvements as increasing demand for our products has accelerated the need for upgrades to our training and manufacturing units,” Luna added.

“The company’s business model and strategy remains unchanged and our steady, consistent approach is helping us reach what will be a record sales year for 2011, despite significant economic pressures worldwide,” Luna said.

Major improvements to BouMatic’s global manufacturing systems have also lead to the renovation of over 20,000 square feet of building space into a new training facility in one of its main buildings at the company’s Madison, Wisconsin headquarters. This includes fully operational training systems for milking, dairy automation, cleaning systems and milk cooling. Similar improvements are underway at BouMatic’s European training facility in Remicourt, Belgium.

“Training at BouMatic University starts with a simple principle that is the foundation of everything BouMatic produces The milking machine should remove all of the available milk from the cow, gently, quickly and completely,” explained Jerry Slattery, Global Director of Training. “But that’s just the beginning. BouMatic University’s new facilities in Madison and Remicourt help make certain our educational programs are the latest, most relevant and cover all of the programs our Dealers and Sales Teams need to support our customers today,” he added.

“BouMatic’s investment in improved manufacturing systems and its commitment to world class training is a very focused and strategic move for the company,” said Robert Luna. “These are sound investments in the future for our employees, our Dealers, BouMatic and the dairy industry,” Luna added.

BouMatic is a leader in the development of innovative products for dairy operators throughout the world ranging from cow traffic systems, milk harvest equipment, automation and management systems, milk cooling systems, dairy hygiene and sanitation technologies. Today BouMatic products are found in over 45 countries. The company employs over 400 people worldwide with global headquarters located in Madison, Wisconsin, USA.
