DairyCo bull bonanza at the Dairy Event
Ten lucky dairy farmers will win up to 200 worth of dairy semen each at this years Dairy Event and Livestock Show, in a Bull Bonanza competition being held by DairyCo.
The competition is being run to promote the importance of good genetics and how, by working with DairyCo Breeding+, farmers can get more from their herd breeding. Participating AI companies are: Semex, Cogent, Genus, Avoncroft, Sterling Sires, Dairy Daughters, Bullsemen.com, The Viking Profile and ABS.
By entering the on-stand competition dairy farmers will be part of a prize draw that will take place on both days of the event, with five lucky winners drawn each day. Each winner can choose semen from a single high PLI bull nominated by one of nine AI companies.
Dairy farmers can enter the competition by completing a short series of questions on postcards being handed out at the entrance to the NEC and on the DairyCo stand. The prize draw will take place at the end of each day.
