writtle_college

Writtle has joined forces with the Landskills East project to host a free Health and Safety event.

The event will offer five FREE interactive Safety Workshops which will provide common sense solutions to farmers about reducing the risks on their farms.

Farmers are invited to come for a half day session which will work through a number of short workshops each designed around a high risk area of farming to dispel the myths regarding managing safety on the farm. The sessions will include: * working with machinery, *people on the farm, *livestock, working at heights and *a simple guide to risk assessments.

To book a place on one of these workshops, which are open to farm staff, managers, contractors, agricultural students, young farmers and farmers families please call Bridgette Hall on 01603 748844 (ext 4), or email landskills@easton.ac.uk
