Jon Parry, Director of Walford, is delighted with the report, commenting we are passionate about providing the very best experience for all our students. I am proud of this Ofsted report as it confirms the very high standards of care offered to residential learners. It recognises the dedication and professionalism of our staff, particularly the residential wardening team, who work tirelessly to ensure all our students have a great experience when living at Walford

Based on Ofsteds findings, parents of residential learners can be confident that students’ health and well-being is effectively promoted. Prospective students will be pleased to note the report highlights that the College actively seeks the views and opinions of students

The excellent inspection report also recognises the substantial investment of over 1m which the College has made in its residential facilities since the last inspection. The flagship new Caradoc Halls of residence has been a major success and College Principal Andrew Tyley has no doubt this has contributed to record numbers of applications for agricultural courses this year.

Walford and North Shropshire College provides serviced residential accommodation to learners who wish to study at the renowned Walford Campus but who are unable to commute daily.
