Management information critical to farmers in today’s challenging economic climate

Two leading businesses join forces to provide enhanced consultancy and management offering.

Kite Consulting (‘Kite’) and Landmark Systems have today announced that they will be working together through a ‘preferred supplier’ agreement.

The move, which takes effect from July 1, 2013, will see Kite recommending Landmark Systems’ KEY and KEYPrime accounting and management packages to its clients.

Coming four years after Kite started using KEY software in its own business, the decision is recognition of the importance of high quality management information in today’s challenging economic climate.

Kite managing consultant, Ros Hughes, said:

“Our focus is on helping our clients manage their farm businesses in the most efficient and productive way – and easy access to accurate management and financial information is critical to that.

“Having the right specialist software really matters, as it means we can focus on detailed analysis and advice rather than spending time trying to find information. Being able to analyse a business from different angles, understand costs inside out and accurately benchmark performance over a period of time is vital. We believe KEY software provides the most comprehensive means of doing that.”

Nigel Parsons, MD of Landmark Systems added:

“We’re naturally delighted that such a respected name in consultancy has decided choose us as their preferred supplier and recommend the KEY software portfolio to its clients.

“Our aim has always been to design products which are geared to the specific needs of rural businesses and Kite Consulting’s decision to endorse KEY is a reflection of this. This new link-up between Kite and Landmark will give rural businesses unique access to a winning combination of technical and management expertise. We are looking forward to an exciting future together.”
