The move highlights Bluefin’s growing specialism in farming and Mark will capitalise on Bluefin’s strong existing position in the market by overseeing its expansion into new areas and the development of new products. He will also coordinate Bluefin’s farming proposition around its nationwide branches, to allow a more cohesive and standardised service and client experience.

Mark Rogers said: “I am thrilled to have been appointed as Director of Farming. Bluefin is one of the largest agricultural brokers in the country and as such enjoys a strong reputation in the industry. There are however numerous opportunities to grow and improve our offering to the farming community and I am looking forward to working closely with our highly respected team to that end.”

Neil Thornton, Head of Commercial at Bluefin, commented: “Agriculture is a significant area for Bluefin and we recognised that for this growing division to fulfil its potential would require a head, for which Mark was the natural choice. With over 27 years experience and a solid track record, Mark is well deserving of the position of Farm Director and I look forward to working with him to capitalise on our position and harness the dedication and skill that exists in the team.”
