Brothers in farms
Dairy farmer sons Chris and Graham Shepherd have joined forces and opened up Shepherd Dairy Services a new dairy division operating alongside Graham’s current business G Shepherd Animal Health.
Chris, a former agricultural banker, and Graham, a qualified vet, the Shepherd Brothers have a wealth of knowledge between them and with this industry experience have recently been appointed GEA Farm Technologies authorised dealer operating in Lancashire, South Cumbria, Isle of Man and the Craven & Keighley districts of Yorkshire.
Joining Chris and Graham are two dairy engineers Paul Baxter & Tim Eastwood previously of United Milking Systems who between them have worked in the industry for 50 years and have experience of GEA Farm Technologies milking and cooling equipment. Anthony Marsh, has also joined as Operations Manager, who has worked within the milking machine industry for many years on equipment and cow management systems.
The new dealership can offer all brands within the GEA family including the MIone automatic milking system, TCool bulk milk tank, cow brushes, Agroserve and GEA dairy hygiene products, Royal De Boer M2M cow cubicles, Houle superior slurry handling equipment and the newly acquired Milfos range.
