Guttridge Ltd opens the factory doors to mark 50 years of materials handling success.

Over 100 visitors made the most of a golden opportunity to see state-of-the-art manufacturing up close as Guttridge Ltd, a leading manufacturer of materials handling solutions, opened its factory doors to host a unique event celebrating the company’s 50th anniversary. Suppliers, customers, local councillors and MP, employees past and present and pupils from the local secondary school all joined together to reflect on the company’s rich history and see how it is gearing up to growth and expansion in today’s highly competitive global market. Feedback confirmed that the tour of the “impressive” factory was a particular highlight for many.

Inspiring the next generation to think about manufacturing and engineering as a rewarding career is crucial, so I was particularly delighted to welcome in our local secondary school.”
