The clay shoot in action
Thanks to the generous support of ADAS, B&B tractors, Bowring transport and Copper Beeches shooting ground the Nottinghamshire branch of the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution hosted a charity clay shoot at Whaley nr Langwith by kind permission of Mr I Longden.
Despite the inclement weather, supporters came to have a round of clays with the top gun named as Mr Henry Helliwell with 42 clays from a 50 bird day. With proceeds from the shoot as well as a raffle, the event raised over £750 for R.A.B.I. Commented on the success of the shoot was committee chairman and local farmer Robert Bower who said ‘ I would like to thank everyone who came and supported us including our sponsors and
Chairman Rob Bower with his new border terrier puppy Molly
