CH4e, the developer of innovative small-scale on-farm anaerobic digestion systems, will be among a select panel of experts offering insights into how to deploy renewables to generate energy from waste and reduce operational costs at Sustainability Live 2013 (16-18 April, NEC Birmingham).

Juliet de Falbe, founding director of CH4e, will examine the challenges facing the agricultural sector which is one of the largest constituencies for renewable technologies. Juliet will focus on the role that Anaerobic Digesters have to play in generating significant amounts of energy from agricultural materials (e.g. slurry and energy crops like silage) and food waste.

In a keynote presentation on day one of the show, Juliet will outline the challenges and opportunities facing the sector, as well as offer visitors and delegates the chance to learn about CH4e’s breakthrough small-scale AD solution.

“AD is a technology that could flourish over the next few years. However, many farmers and landowners do not understand the technology, planning issues and how to choose a system that is appropriate to their needs,” says Juliet de Falbe. “We will offer insight into AD for the agricultural community and conclude with an overview of CH4e’s innovative AD for the agricultural sector.”

CH4e is speaking at Anaerobic Digestion & Biogas (Tuesday 16 April, 11.45 – 12.45) in Energy from Waste Theatre One at Sustainability Live 2013.
