Lantra, the body that promotes skills development in the land-based and environmental sector, is delighted to welcome new business development director Sallyann Baldry to the organisation.
Sallyann brings a wealth of experience and expertise to Lantra, having worked in education, training, marketing and business development for more than twenty years.
She has previously worked in business development for Edexcel and led parent company Pearson’s entry into the security sector when licensing was introduced, as well as supporting large employers to accredit in-company training and develop apprenticeship programmes.
In 2011 she joined Industry Qualifications, in its infancy, as head of business development, and was instrumental in the growth of the company over the next four years. In addition to working for awarding bodies Sallyann has also lectured in further education and marketing for the Mary Rose Trust in Portsmouth Historic Dockyard.
Sallyann is looking forward to contributing to Lantra’s success in delivering qualifications and training in the land-based and environmental sector.
