Pig farmers, butchers and industry leaders strip off for charity!
A number of high profile male industry members have posed scantily clad for the Ladies in Pigs (LIPS) calendar 2011 sponsored by Genesis Quality Assurance.
The calendar was the idea of Hilary Cuttell, Business Development manager of Genesis who wanted to support LIPS fundraising efforts. A number of well-known names posed in a series of light-hearted images to help the cause, including Andrew Knowles of BPEX, who is Mr February.
Sue Woodall of LIPS said, .All the models posed tastefully in various locations, some with the equipment they use and some with strategic positioned props! We are really pleased with the result and hope to raise lots of money! The funds raised will go to buy a trailer that will tour the country promoting British pork.

About Ladies in Pigs
Ladies in Pigs supports the British pig industry by passionately working to increase the consumption and value of British pork and bacon. During its lifetime Lips has increased in stature, becoming a respected and essential part of BPEX.
Ladies in Pigs extends its promotional activities with the consumer by lobbying for clear product identification so that consumers can make informed buying decisions, in-store promotional activities, promotions, talks and cookery demonstrations at shows, schools and meeting, and campaigning for a better deal for the British pig farmer.
Ladies in Pigs recognise the need for unity within the industry. We maintain a high profile, liaising with producers and producer organisations. We promote the activities of the BPEX, NPA, the National Farmers Union, the Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board and the independent Meat traders. We encourage links between farming and food, city and countryside.
