Doctor scoops a whopping prize

As the winner of a whopping 100 litres of yummy flavoured  ice-cream from Grahams The Family Dairy, Dr Jen Beattie from Edinburgh wont be popping out for a 99 anytime soon!

And as the picture shows, the doctor at Edinburghs Royal Hospital for Sick Children was only too happy (12 August) to accept her prize from delivery driver, Robert Johnston of Grahams The Family Dairy.

Dr Beattie was the winner of a competition run by the Bridge of Allan based dairy during the 2010 Royal Highland Show, in celebration of its launch of a delicious range of flavoured ice-creams.

And Dr Beattie confided she wont be the only person to enjoy her hugely refreshing treat.  She said: Ill be sharing my prize with my two-and-a-half year-old son who loves ice-cream and with colleagues and staff at the hospital.
