Spinning Clock secures lucrative AHDB role
Spinning Clock, the UK-based event management agency, has been appointed to a roster of the Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board (AHDB).
The appointment will see Spinning Clock competing with other shortlisted companies to provide stand design and audio-visual services, worth 4m over four years, for events and shows until 2014.
The AHDB is a relatively new independent, evidence-based levy board funded by farmers, growers and others in the food supply chain. It plays a pivotal role in improving farm business efficiency and competitiveness, supporting the long-term sustainability of the sector.
As one of just 16 companies selected from across the UK, Spinning Clock had to undergo a competitive tendering process to make it onto the roster.
Commenting on the appointment, Don Turner, managing director of Spinning Clock, said: The team is proud to have secured a place on the AHDB roster and were looking forward to the four year partnership.
The agriculture and horticulture sectors are vital to the UK economy and although these are exciting new divisions for Spinning Clock to be working with, were well positioned to use our event expertise to help the industry to promote its services.
Guy Attenborough, head of communications at the AHDB added: Spinning Clock was one of the companies that demonstrated the knowledge needed to help us communicate effectively with farmers, growers and other parts of the food chain.
