Description

ALL-ENERGY JUST GROWS AND GROWS - IN SIZE AND STATUS

The UK's largest renewable energy exhibition and conference continues to grow in
both terms of size and status. The tenth show in the annual All-Energy series,
being held in Aberdeen on 19 and 20 May 2010, is set to be larger than any show
in the history of the event. Already almost 90% of the available space 4,500m2
net has been booked or reserved by companies and organisations from home and
overseas. There are in fact only 30 stands left with five months to go before
the show opens.

"All-Energy has consistently grown in every aspect including numbers of
exhibitors, space taken and attendance, so it certainly looks as if All-Energy
2010 will continue this trend," says Event Director, Jamie Thompson. "The show
has long been held in association with BWEA and Scottish Renewables; now we are
pleased to be able to announce that, for the first time, All-Energy 2010 is
being held in association with UK Trade & Industry (UKTI).

"Working with the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC), UKTI has long
been an official supporter of the show, and in 2009 they brought Inward Missions
from 29 countries to the exhibition and conference. This year UKTI has exchanged
their 'official supporter' participation for a more active role - a real feather
in the show's cap!

"We are proud of our booking statistics, which see interest from several
countries new to All-Energy eager to host pavilions at the 2010 show including
France, Latvia, Lithuania, and Italy, as well as group pavilions from Austria,
Canada, Denmark, Flanders, and Norway, Scottish regions and Northern Ireland,
and individual companies from home and overseas."

All-Energy, organised by Media Generation Events in partnership with QMDI, is
held with input from a wide range of organisations ranging from government
departments (Westminster and Holyrood), to professional bodies and trade
associations. The Society for Underwater Technology is the show's Learned
Society Patron.

Conference taking shape
The free-to-attend conference is taking shape. With some 250 speakers expected
to be involved during the course of the two days, the call for papers has
resulted in far more submissions than ever before. The conference will look at
all sources of renewable energy, policy, challenges and opportunities for a wide
range of users.

All-Energy 2009 attracted a total attendance of 5,500 from 60 countries,
including 250+/- speakers; and over 380 exhibiting companies from 14 countries.
