This month sees another big win for Cheshire Farm Ice Cream, as the quality of their product is recognised at the Oscars of the food world, the Great Taste Awards 2010. The now nationally acclaimed ice cream producers scooped not one, but two awards for their irresistible Real Dairy Ice Cream. Cheshire Farm Ice Cream claimed recognition for their Vanilla ice cream, a delicate natural vanilla, speckled with vanilla pod seeds that impressed the judges with its creamy, velvety flavour. The second accolade was achieved by their Armagnac flavour, a bespoke ice cream made especially for this year’s Great Taste Awards. The Great Taste Awards is the acknowledged benchmark for specialty food and drink manufacturers and customers alike. With these new wins, it means that two more Cheshire Farm Ice Cream flavours will be holding the logo, joining their ever popular Chocolate and Honeycomb. Jonathan Fell, Director of Cheshire Farm Ice Cream says: “Over 6,000 products were entered into this year’s awards, so to receive recognition for not one but two of our Real Dairy Ice Cream’s is a huge achievement that we are very proud of. It is incredibly important to us to gain recognition for the quality of our products.” The award winning Real Dairy Ice Cream is made using fresh whole milk and fresh cream, with only the finest ingredients carefully selected to ensure that they are free from artificial colours and flavours. The production unit is one of the biggest in the North West and is capable of producing over 1000Ltrs of ice cream an hour for over 30 delicious flavours of ice cream and sorbets.
