The NFU is pleased to announce a number of new key appointments at its Stoneleigh Park head office.

Current Head of Food and Farming Kevin Pearce has been promoted to Director of Regions and is replaced by Philip Hudson, who takes up his new position on February 1 2011. Terry Abbott has been appointed as the new Director of Membership and Business Services. The former Head of Business Services has extended his responsibilities to cover both the business services and membership departments.

Meanwhile, Tom Hind, Head of Economics and International Affairs, will become the NFUs new Director of Corporate Affairs with the departure of Terry Jones, who is leaving the organisation after nine years to join The Food and Drink Federation as their Director of Communications.

NFU Director General Kevin Roberts said: I think these appointments show the depth of talent and experience within the NFU and I look forward to working with all four individuals in their very important roles.
